It is with great honor and excitement that I serve as the Principal of Summerville Middle School.
Our school is home to a dedicated faculty and staff who work tirelessly each day to ensure the
success and well-being of every student. Together, we are proud to serve a community that truly
cares about education and the growth of its children.

At Summerville Middle School, we strive every day to help students value learning and grow into
the young adults they are becoming. We take great pride in being part of a district that upholds
strong core values—values that encourage students to discover their strengths, explore their
interests, and dream boldly. Our goal is to support each student in becoming confident,
compassionate, and driven.

Our faculty and staff are committed to letting every student know that the sky is the limit and that
they should always strive to be the very best version of themselves. We believe deeply in
creating an inclusive and accepting environment where every student feels valued, supported,
and known. By building strong relationships, we lay the foundation for success not only in
school, but throughout life.

This year, our school theme is GRIT: Give your best, Rise after setbacks, Improve daily, and Try,
try again. Through this focus, we aim to show our students that perseverance, hard work, and
effort are the qualities that will guide them to become future leaders and caring neighbors.
